High Street at the Franklin

Philadelphia includes a central bar, open bakery, and dining room. The team at Marguerite Rodgers combines refreshed elements from the High Street restaurant brand—millwork, light fixtures, tabletops, the iconic 1803 Varles street map of Philadelphia, and an eclectic art collection—with new features that elevate and invite.   The metal and glass bar shelving and full-height windows by Alli Fabrication are industrial chic and practical and showcase the art and choreography of the active bakery. Natural Oak, honed black granite, and stained and polished concrete floors add to the rich and dynamic environment. “The Back Room,” a private event space, is elegant with upholstered velvet wall panels, original works by notable artists, and a private bar.
