Hyatt at the Bellevue

Since 1904, the Bellevue Hotel has been the standard bearer of the Philadelphia Society. Starting in 2004, Marguerite Rodgers collaborated with Hyatt Hotels to reinvent and update the hotel while maintaining the hotel’s historic character. Over the next two decades, Marguerite Rodgers completed restaurants, bars, meeting rooms, ballrooms, guestrooms, and hallways. In 2018, The Grand Ballroom, along with a complete refresh of the original XIX Restaurant and The Café and Bar, brought new life to the iconic hotel.  The two-tier Ballroom is reinvigorated with an elegant color palette, restored plasterwork and railings, refurbished chandeliers and wall sconces, an ebonized bar, and state-of-the-art sound and light systems. The 19th floor restaurants glow under the expansive rotundas. Marguerite Rodgers refreshed XIX with updated furnishings and window coverings while retaining the sophisticated color scheme and the monumental, original pearl chandelier. The café/lounge and bar represent the greatest transformation with bold colors and distinctive art created by Marguerite Rodgers Editions.
