Royal Boucherie

Royal Boucherie is a French-inspired brasserie with a lively bar area and dining at street level, a more intimate dining room and bar on the second level, and roof-top dining. The owners of the 150-seat restaurant collaborated with Marguerite Rodgers to create a polished, yet informal pub atmosphere befitting the neighborhood’s historic district. The design team brought new life and a warm patina to the main floor by exposing the brick walls and original flooring. A vintage bar, wooden booths, deep green Chesterfield-style banquets, tin ceilings, and a collection of artwork and ephemera add charm and interest. The plaster moldings and period details in the second-floor dining room and bar reflect an intimate parlor setting with an old-world sensibility.
