Beachfront Residence

The interiors of this family-and-guest-friendly beach house are casually elegant and richly layered with textures, materials, and art. Comfort and ease characterize the rooms and the desired eclecticism is unified by consistent flooring. Seven years in the making, this commission was a carefully phased remodel that permitted the owners to use the house during the summers. The end result incorporates a new central staircase that connects all floors on both sides of the house. Floating from oak and white linen panels, the stair sets a contemporary tone along with the 20-foot custom Capiz shell chandelier. Enticing and warm, the home’s abundant amenities, privacy, and panoramic ocean views beckon year-round.
