Rittenhouse Square Residence

A Connecticut couple with family in Philadelphia purchased this high-rise condo to use when visiting and enjoying the city. The clients requested a dramatic sensibility, which is achieved with an urbane mix of classic and contemporary pieces against light walls with wood trim accents. In the circular foyer, an inlaid floor on the axis with the skyline view also leads to the bedrooms or study. The master suite is a study in pale hues, while the living areas are a culmination of the rich darks, lights, and textures used throughout the apartment. Guest bedrooms each have a unique character, and for the grandchildren, a bunkroom maximizes the space. It is so beloved that Meg will recreate it for the family’s summer home.
