Riverview Residence

The interior design for this expansive 17th floor apartment was realized when the client, an artist and collector, downsized from her large suburban home. The team at Marguerite Rodgers worked closely with the homeowner to evaluate and edit her extensive collection of textiles, American art and handcrafted furniture, as well as artifacts from her travels throughout India, Africa, and Asia. The resulting light-filled spaces, with incredible views overlooking the Schuylkill River and Philadelphia, were precisely planned to show the placement of furniture and artwork that have new meaning in this context. Thirty pieces of Thomas Moser furniture add warmth and style, while many other objects are beautifully incorporated or adapted into very personal, eclectic, and worldly rooms.
